Introducing our #Healthhero, the lovely, Chef Cynthia Louise!
How did you first discover raw foods and super foods?
Raw food recipes i have being playing with for years, way back when my son was 5, i was making kombucha and raw slices back then, playing around with dehydration, and making tahini balls, Jayman is now turning 21, so it been many years for me,and in that time i have seen every food fad come in and out of my kitchen, and when the “super: foods came into fashion, it was my mum that said that ALL foods are “super” foods, so i tend to parse the humble parsley. Its how i roll.
Best health tip/s?
Water…water, water, water i believe in the power of water as my number one health tip. A lot of people are so busy these days and get to the end of the day only having 1 or 2 glasses of water. Its a fact we are mostly water.Best healthy value you can create in your day
Do you have a healthful morning ritual?
Yes, i drink at least 2 liters of water before 9 am, sometimes with lemon juice and a pinch of cayenne pepper.I feel the morning is still detox for me, so i prefer to fast, then around 12 noon i break~fast with a yummy salad.
What is your favourite food/meal right now?
right now as i write this i am dipping a banana into some black tahini, honey and almond butter, and i am fully into the NOW,so i have to say this is my favourite food/meal.You should try it, simple but incredibly moorish..
