Just so it’s clear, you won’t hear me bang on about whether vegetarian, high carb-low fat vegan, 100% raw, fruit-loop-arian, or even paleo is best or better.
It is my job to give you the “tools rather than the rules” to listen to your bodies wisdom. I am not interested in deprivation or restrictive eating, rather, the opposite. Eating is all about abundance – of the right kind! Once your taste buds attune and intuition sharpens, eating shifts are actually easy to make.. and to sustain.
It’s important to note that your body has different needs at different times. I can help determine what those needs are. It may need a good ‘ol clean out with a juice and smoothie cleanse, it may need warming foods to nourish a stressful period or, that chocolate (Cacao of course!) and cuppa may just be what is needed to soothe the soul.
Although health most certainly starts with the food you place in your mouth – it definitely doesn’t end with it.
To have balance in mind, body and emotion, we also look beyond the food you place in your mouth. The balance between Peace Vs Stress, Acidity Vs Alkalinity, Toxic Vs Cleansed and High insulin Vs balanced insulin (hormones) is essential to examine to determine and enhance health. These factors are unique to you and I look at your individual constitution and lifestyle to create a plan for you to feel and therefore, be your best.

You know, whole foods, the stuff nature intended us to eat! No chemicals, hormones, additives or preservatives thanks. Just honest, natural, untampered with food. Avocado, Coconut and Coriander are a few of my fav!
Uncooked food retains ALL of it’s nutritional content especially the all important enzymes (basically the more enzymes you have the longer life and higher quality of health you have!) Raw is NOT carrot sticks and lettuce .. think, Chocolate Chia puddings, creamy Vegetable soups and even raw Carrot Cake! Oh YUM!!
Because all good things are free and wild!! Right?! Foods grown in nature are the most medicinal foods we could chow. Reishi mushrooms for super immunity and seaweeds like Nori & Dulse can transform your health – a big YES to wild foods! Tonic herbs, Goji and Camucamu berries are also amazingly effective ways to upgrade your nutrition.
A little about me..
In my former life as a Dancer, my standard diet regularly featured Thai takeout, cafe breakies, coffee and, diet coke. Needless to say my energy lagged. In my career transition to study Nutritional Medicine, I upgraded my eating somewhat and, was feeling fine on a ‘healthful’ diet following the traditional ‘Food Pyramid’. I didn’t realise it was possible to raise the barre on this way of eating until.. I experienced a 3 day Raw Vegan cleansing retreat.
What a game changer.
This is where my eyes opened WIDE to the power of real, raw and wild foods, a high plant based diet and, regular cleansing. (Thank you forever Kathryn Alice Ford). At day 2… I was clear headed, uplifted, lighter in my body & mood and actually had a physical sense of pressure off my body (that I didn’t even know was there) not to mention, massive cravings for Coriander! Coriander?! What the? After just 2 DAYS!!!
I have stayed on this real and raw food path since. Not because I feel guilty if I deviate, not because I want to ‘lose weight’ and not because I have the discipline to follow a diet but because I feel so ALIVE when I eat LIVING FOODS. Simple.
I am a Food Coach (The Australian Food Coach Institute) and, a Raw Nutritionist (Raw Nutrition Certification, BodyMind Institute). With an insatiable desire to keep learning all things nutrition and wellness, I am currently completing an Advanced Diploma in Nutritional Medicine.
